Accessibility Statement
Website designed & developed by Plaster
We believe that the night belongs to all, and are committed to making Design The Night accessible to everyone.
We aim to give as much access to information about our plans for the event, and the venue in which it's hosted, so that everyone feels welcome and able to participate fully.
There are provisions in place for people who are Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent.
If you would like to ask us any questions, please email bristol.nights@bristol.gov.uk
There are five spaces at Pryzm. We will be utilising the whole building, the rooms will be set up with seats throughout.

If you would like to see what the venue looks like before you arrive, please visit pryzm.co.uk/bristol/venue-hire
There will be a short break between each session.
We will be utilising Live Captioning software at this event, which will be displayed on screens in each room. This is so that our accessibility supports as many people as possible, including those with hearing loss and neurodivergent participants, who would benefit from being able to read the discussions.
If you have additional access requirements and/or require a BSL interpreter, please let us know by emailing bristol.nights@bristol.gov.uk.
There is Level Access to the building, and a lift and step-free access to all levels.
Accessible toilet facilities are found on all levels and are signposted in the building.
The nearest disabled parking is in Millennium Square Car Park, Canons Way, Bristol BS1 5LL. There are 22 designated disabled parking bays located across both floors.
All assistance dogs are welcome across the entire venue, and water and a quiet space for them can be available where required.
Yes, we know that busy environments can sometimes be overwhelming. If you need to take some time out, there is a quiet space available.
In the foyer area, we are being joined by mental health and wellbeing organisations who are on hand to speak to if you need.
The event is designed to be a joyous experience, but some of the topics covered may stir up uncomfortable feelings. If this happens at any point and you would like to talk to someone, please let us know.
Help Musicians, Bristol Women's Voice and Bristol Drugs Project will all be available on the day, and a number of staff are mental health first aiders. Your mental health and wellbeing is the most important priority for us.
If you require additional confidential support, there are a range of services here bristolnights.co.uk/projects/thrive-at-night-support.
